Karma and Me

How we met

When I was 13, my family and I were looking for a place in Pattaya to record some piano pieces. Google pointed us to Karma Sound Studio, so we stopped by to check it out. That's where I first met Chris Craker, the studio's owner and producer.

The clarinet surprise

While chatting after the tour, I mentioned I play clarinet at school. Chris casually said he used to be a clarinettist with the London Symphony Orchestra. One thing led to another, and I asked if he could teach me. He agreed, and weekly lessons began soon after.

Highlights so far

  • Piano recordings: Chris produced my first singles, now on Apple Music and other platforms.
  • Clarinet guidance: He helps me with technique and phrasing and even checks in on my practice videos.
  • Recitals at Karma:
    • Summer Nocturnes (2023) – mainly Chopin and Debussy.
    • Contrasts (2025) – Rachmaninoff preludes plus clarinet pieces. Both events were full houses.

Why Karma matters to me

Karma isn't just a recording studio; it's where I get honest feedback and new ideas. Chris pushes me to listen harder, breathe better, and play more musically—whether it's piano or clarinet. I'm grateful for the guidance and the chances he's given me to share my music with a bigger audience.
